Updates!!

 Hey Y'all!

Not much been happening here, other than packing & decluttering the house. 

We had another yard sale last weekend, and it did okay Thurs, and better Friday. Saturday was beautiful & there was a lot going on (event wise) locally. So after 2+ hours of no people, we shut it down and went out in search of a single burner unit (to use to heat water, or a pot of xyz). No luck while thrifting, but we did get some more totes, and a few skirts my sister needed for work, and got really lucky on a fridge cooler for $7! (It's both standard plug and cigarette lighter.)

Then we did more packing Monday. I wish I found it fun, it'd be easier, lol.

We haven't made any travel plans. However we did brainstorm, and played around outside in the van and came up with a layout we think will work nicely. 

We also finally posted our FIRST TRIP IN THE VAN video:

It is more about the location, and what to do at Mammoth Ridge than about the van, we'll get to that in an upcoming video...


Lastly I've been working on the blog and video schedules for both Outland Adventures & Craftin' Wife's Creations:

Still a work in progress, but here's what I have so far.

Thursday's will be our main upload day for new content, and we plan to post our older videos in-between. We have video we shot, but just weren't ready to commit to posting at the time. Like our two trips (tent camping) at Hungry Mother State Park (VA) last year in June, and October. We also have video of a day trip we took from here in Hawkins Co, to Newport, TN this past April. I'm sure there are others as well!

Places We've Been/Things We've Done- March & April

 Hey Y'all, So, what have we been doing? Some of it we've shared here in the blog (Like our first Loves RV stay) some we've shared on our social media accounts: linktr.ee/outlandadventures We started out March in NE Ohio, Chris' best friend (more like family really, and that's how we generally refer to them) had just had surgery on his ankle. We visited with them, attended a basketball game, a dance competition, several parks, played bingo, went to Quality Inn with an entire indoor play area with pools, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and various play areas. I'm sure there was more, but those were the highlights! After we left them we spent a few days in Findley State Park, before heading further west, we spent a night in Delphos, OH... Our Favorite Places Thus Far (Updated) TOP 5

 Hey Y'all! This is a bit of a filler blog, because while we've been places we've liked nothing so far has beat these five. Honorable mention to the latest museums, we really enjoyed them all. Both Jonesborough, and Greeneville TN are awesome (Lost State of Franklin) and we highly recommend them too.   We've been fortunate to have seen quite a few sights these past few months, here's our top 5!  There were so many cool things, and places coming up with just five favorites was harder than expected. Working from 5, and in order we'll start with... 5)  Athens Veterans Museum - Welcome to the Alabama Veterans Museum and Archives. Located in Athens Alabama, we are proud to be a part of our military history with a large exhibit center, guided tours provided by local veterans, gift shop, meeting facilities, monthly coffee call and much more . Our Favorite Things/Places/Experiences This Past Month

 Hey Y'all! We were fortunate to do/see a lot of different places this past month. We traveled from NE Ohio, through OH and KY, where we spent a day in Corbin, and then onto NE Tennessee, we took a few days in Bristol, VA, and spent a week in the great outdoors at the quiet, serene Mammoth Ridge near Greeneville. In-between trips in TN we stayed at my mom's and did the whole doctors appointments and scans thing, again. PLACE- While in Ohio we really had a blast, and there's so much to share there it'll be a couple of videos, very soon. Our favorites were the haunted attractions, and getting to cross another National Park off our list with Cuyahoga Valley National Park . Brandywine Falls History runs deep in the valley, with over 12,000 years of human occupation. From the unwritten stories of pre-contact peoples to the environmental disasters and comebacks of modern times, humans have left an impact on the valley.
