Outland Adventures

 Hey Y'all! Hope your holidays were pleasant! We spent or Christmas out at my sisters (as we do every year). This year we did things a little earlier than normal, but the weather was beautiful! We never do the traditional dinner, that's for Thanksgiving. This year we opted for tacos and fajitas. Brother in law cooked all the meat and veggies outside on the smoker/grill. Delicious! We did gift opening a bit different this year too. We still took turns, but this year we each opened all our gifts then moved to the next person in line. I did like this way, as it was easier to see each persons reaction, and everything they got. Minus the items from each other, and cash from both sis and mom. Chris: Amanda: We had a great time hanging out, and spending time with the family. For the next few days it rained, but we managed to clean the basement out, and had a heap of junk fort he trash men to pick up.  Hey Y'all! We've been busy getting everything packed, cleaned, and moved from here to the storage unit. The realtor came out yesterday for their initial look and to go over all the details, so we had the preparations for that too. The house should be listed before Christmas!! Because of all this, plus life stuff in general there was no time to fix the igloo fridge, but all the parts were in early. Hopefully I can get to it in the next few evenings!  Thanks,  The Outlands

 Hey Y'all! ...Well hubby has taken his desk apart, as well as mine and all the bookcases, and it's getting there. However, we still have the bed and kitchen table. We took 0 pics or video of all this though. I swear we'll get better at this content creator thing. We did take another load to the storage unit, and discovered that the cheap totes have to be close to over stuffed or they collapse.  Hey Y'all! Hubby misunderstood the assignment, and so the video is his tool box, as well as installing the dash cam, and new headlights. Back in the garage, we do mostly keep tools and van related emergency gear. As well as our water supply, and other items like chairs, and table under the bed... It's a bit of a mess, but I grabbed a few pictures amid him working on something or another. Thanks,  The Outlands

 Hey Y'all! We have way too many clothes! For Amanda it's loungewear, for Chris it was tee shirts.  This'll be the third time we've taken in donations to Shephard Center . The second of clothes, and once with random household goods. I forgot this was going to be a blog, and didn't start taking pics until more than halfway through. We now have everything packed in the four dressers, except Christmas shirts. And our cases for the road are packed as well. Figuring out which takes up less space- rolling, or folding. Stuffing these small dresser drawers to the brim. Donation Pile: It ended up being the pink tote and a trash bag full. All done! It's better than it was... deciding what to donate was easy, deciding what we needed and wanted to take on the road was a bit more difficult.
