Van "Garage" & Tool Box

 Hey Y'all!

Hubby misunderstood the assignment, and so the video is his tool box, as well as installing the dash cam, and new headlights.

Back in the garage, we do mostly keep tools and van related emergency gear. As well as our water supply, and other items like chairs, and table under the bed...

It's a bit of a mess, but I grabbed a few pictures amid him working on something or another.

Thanks,

The Outlands

Hey, We’re Still Here! Hey friends, Yeah… we know it’s been a minute. Life, RV life , and spring adventures kind of swept us off our usual blogging schedule. We didn’t mean to ghost, but March got away from us, and our blogs went on a little unplanned hiatus. But we’re back, and ready to share what we’ve been up to! Spring has officially sprung, the roads are calling, and we’ve got a ton of quirky stops, small-town adventures, and roadside oddities to catch you up on. Think hidden murals , bizarre museums , and maybe even a diner or two that deserves its own photo essay. We’re planning new posts for every Tuesday and Thursday, so if you follow along, you’ll get the latest adventures without having to check our RV windows for smoke signals. We’re taking a slower, more story-driven approach this season—less “here’s what we did today,” more “here’s a place you need to see before it disappears off the map.” Thanks for sticking with us—even when we disappeared for a bit. The road ahead...

A Day in the Life of Winter RV Living ❄️🚐 Winter RV life isn’t just about cozy blankets and hot cocoa—though there’s plenty of that. For me, Amanda, writing this from Wildebeest, it’s a mix of adventure, creativity, and a little bit of “how did it get this cold?” sprinkled with humor. Here’s a peek into a typical winter day on the road. Morning: Cold Air, Warm Propane ☕️ We wake to frost on the windows and a chill that makes stepping outside a bold move. First things first: we fire up our propane heater inside Wildebeest—no cold toes allowed. While it warms the RV, I brew a steaming cup of coffee and start planning the day. Breakfast is usually something simple cooked on the propane stove or Blackstone —think eggs, oatmeal, or pancakes. Meanwhile, Chris checks road conditions and makes sure our gear is ready for the day. Midday: Exploring Small Towns & Quirky Stops 🛣️ Once we’re bundled up and fueled, we hit the road. Winter travel has perks: empty attractions, ope...
