Where DO We Want To Go This Year?!?

 Hey Y'all!

So, where do we want to go this year? Is everywhere an options? Our goal over the next few years is the "lower 48".

But... where do we plan to go this year?

A few places we've been- like KY, IN, and OH. As well as several we haven't.


At the top of the list and a for sure come February is:

Alabama


While neither of us is interest in sports, we both are interested in American history, and AL is rich with it, especially the civil rights movement. Also, though we've been to FL several times neither of us has been to the Gulf Coast.


Next up? Depends on how long we spend in AL and when (April) we have to head back to NE TN. Current plan is Mississippi.


Again, the Gulf, and we'd like to see the Natchez Trace visitors center, among so much more in this state.


By then it'll be getting hot in the south, so we'll head north and/or west. Maybe go see family again, then throw in either IL, or MI. I've (Amanda) been to MI but not in over 20 years, and not far into it, so it'll all be new to me too. July, back to TN. From there we're not sure... Maybe WV, PA, and NY- all states I've been too, and Chris has been to WV, and PA as well, but we haven't even begun to explore them. October is another return to TN, and time to start thinking south again.

MO, AR, and LA maybe? Then back for Christmas, New Year, and doctors.

Places We've Been/Things We've Done- March & April

 Hey Y'all, So, what have we been doing? Some of it we've shared here in the blog (Like our first Loves RV stay) some we've shared on our social media accounts: linktr.ee/outlandadventures We started out March in NE Ohio, Chris' best friend (more like family really, and that's how we generally refer to them) had just had surgery on his ankle. We visited with them, attended a basketball game, a dance competition, several parks, played bingo, went to Quality Inn with an entire indoor play area with pools, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and various play areas. Our Favorite Places Thus Far (Updated) TOP 5

 Hey Y'all! This is a bit of a filler blog, because while we've been places we've liked nothing so far has beat these five. Honorable mention to the latest museums, we really enjoyed them all. Both Jonesborough, and Greeneville TN are awesome (Lost State of Franklin) and we highly recommend them too.   We've been fortunate to have seen quite a few sights these past few months, here's our top 5!  There were so many cool things, and places coming up with just five favorites was harder than expected. Our Favorite Things/Places/Experiences This Past Month

 Hey Y'all! We were fortunate to do/see a lot of different places this past month. We traveled from NE Ohio, through OH and KY, where we spent a day in Corbin, and then onto NE Tennessee, we took a few days in Bristol, VA, and spent a week in the great outdoors at the quiet, serene Mammoth Ridge near Greeneville. In-between trips in TN we stayed at my mom's and did the whole doctors appointments and scans thing, again. PLACE- While in Ohio we really had a blast, and there's so much to share there it'll be a couple of videos, very soon. Our favorites were the haunted attractions, and getting to cross another National Park off our list with Cuyahoga Valley National Park . Brandywine Falls History runs deep in the valley, with over 12,000 years of human occupation. From the unwritten stories of pre-contact peoples to the environmental disasters and comebacks of modern times, humans have left an impact on the valley.
