Travel Questions Part 2

  Hey Y'all!

We figured it'd be fun to sit down for a few minutes and answer some travel questions as a get to know us blog. We'll answer as many as we can today, and revisit the questionnaire again in the future. Feel free to add your questions in the comments below and we'll add them to the list next time!

Here we go:

  1. What places are you planning to visit? As many as possible! Our first  big goal is the lower 48 states. We've done 14 together, Amanda has an additional 3 we'll revisit together eventually.
  2. Who are you planning to go with? Each other. Family will join on occasion.
  3. When are you planning to go? ASAP! That's looking like September or October before we can get full time...
  4. Where are you planning to stay? In our van.
  5. What sights are you planning to see? The tourist-y stuff, and the off the beaten path stuff. The journey is the destination.
  6. When will you next go to the beach? Which beach is your favorite? Hopefully soon. The favorite beach we've been to? Hmm... We both say OBX (NC).
  1. Where did you go on your last vacation? Indiana, to look at vans and visit fam. Prior to that it was a camping trip in VA.
  2. Who did you go with? Each other to IN. With our (local) niece & nephew on the camping trip.
  3. Where did you stay? We tent camped on both trips.
  4. What did you do there? In IN just visit family and walk around the town. Camping? So much! We love Hungry Mother.
  5. What did you see there? In IN- family, and fields lol! 
  6. How much money did you spend there? The gas to get there, and a meal or two. Camping trip? Gas, groceries, camp fees, wood, and a trip to town for rainy day supplies and ice cream.
  7. Who was the most interesting person you met? Marshall, LOL. (He was just over 6mo old, but we finally met our newest nephew.)
  8. How long did you stay there? Did you want to stay longer? In Indiana? A few days. We could have stayed longer, but we'll go back soon. I always want to camp longer.

Places We've Been/Things We've Done- March & April

 Hey Y'all, So, what have we been doing? Some of it we've shared here in the blog (Like our first Loves RV stay) some we've shared on our social media accounts: linktr.ee/outlandadventures We started out March in NE Ohio, Chris' best friend (more like family really, and that's how we generally refer to them) had just had surgery on his ankle. We visited with them, attended a basketball game, a dance competition, several parks, played bingo, went to Quality Inn with an entire indoor play area with pools, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and various play areas. I'm sure there was more, but those were the highlights! After we left them we spent a few days in Findley State Park, before heading further west, we spent a night in Delphos, OH... Our Favorite Places Thus Far (Updated) TOP 5

 Hey Y'all! This is a bit of a filler blog, because while we've been places we've liked nothing so far has beat these five. Honorable mention to the latest museums, we really enjoyed them all. Both Jonesborough, and Greeneville TN are awesome (Lost State of Franklin) and we highly recommend them too.   We've been fortunate to have seen quite a few sights these past few months, here's our top 5!  There were so many cool things, and places coming up with just five favorites was harder than expected. Our Favorite Things/Places/Experiences This Past Month

 Hey Y'all! We were fortunate to do/see a lot of different places this past month. We traveled from NE Ohio, through OH and KY, where we spent a day in Corbin, and then onto NE Tennessee, we took a few days in Bristol, VA, and spent a week in the great outdoors at the quiet, serene Mammoth Ridge near Greeneville. In-between trips in TN we stayed at my mom's and did the whole doctors appointments and scans thing, again. PLACE- While in Ohio we really had a blast, and there's so much to share there it'll be a couple of videos, very soon. Our favorites were the haunted attractions, and getting to cross another National Park off our list with Cuyahoga Valley National Park . Brandywine Falls History runs deep in the valley, with over 12,000 years of human occupation. From the unwritten stories of pre-contact peoples to the environmental disasters and comebacks of modern times, humans have left an impact on the valley.
