Winter Travel Plans

So, what are our winter travel plans?

The plan as of now is staying here (here being NE TN) until after the new year. Amanda has a few doctors appts in December, then it's the holidays. So travel currently isn't really possible.

Come January it'll depend on weather where we go, and when.

The rough idea is to explore Alabama, a state neither of us has been. 


It's very early in the planning stages, we just ordered the travel guide, and highway maps. We do have gps (obviously) on our phones, and Rand McNally Maps, but I thought it'd be nice to have this too. 

What do we want to do in Alabama?

Tour some of the Civil Rights Movement history, check out the local nature, and the gulf coast. 

After Alabama?

It depends on how long we stay there, maybe we'll travel to FL or Mississippi, maybe we'll be in AL the whole winter. We'll have to come back to NE TN in late March/Early April for check ups, and another Dr appointment in May, though we may try to move that to April as well. We're thinking after April, assuming we can move the appointment up, we'll have until July before we have to come back again... So maybe Mississippi, Louisiana, and/or Arkansas, but it may be too hot for that. So the other idea is Missouri, Illinois, and/or Iowa... or possibly Illinois, Wisconsin, Michigan. (Amanda has been to MI, but not the UP.)

Places We've Been/Things We've Done- March & April

 Hey Y'all, So, what have we been doing? Some of it we've shared here in the blog (Like our first Loves RV stay) some we've shared on our social media accounts: linktr.ee/outlandadventures We started out March in NE Ohio, Chris' best friend (more like family really, and that's how we generally refer to them) had just had surgery on his ankle. We visited with them, attended a basketball game, a dance competition, several parks, played bingo, went to Quality Inn with an entire indoor play area with pools, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and various play areas. I'm sure there was more, but those were the highlights! After we left them we spent a few days in Findley State Park, before heading further west, we spent a night in Delphos, OH... Pretty area, but the weather didn't really cooperate enough to enjoy outdoor recreation. That brings us to April...
