Our Top 5 Favorite Van Life Content Creators
Hey Y'all!
This list is going to be compromised of YouTubers/YouTube channels since that's the content we enjoy together. We'll read the occasional blog, or watch TikTok sometimes, but we do that separately.
Together we enjoy:
1) Vancity Vanlife-
Chrome (and his adorable pup Cruz) is a Vancouver Island BC based vanlifer who mainly explore the back country of Canada. He has a shop as his "home base" and works on his van and other projects there. We like to watch to explore Canada's west coast, and to see another way of van living, as well as getting ideas/tips on must haves, and setup, etc.
The Van Life Adventures Of Chrome n Cruz. We live full-time in a 2004 Ford E250 Extended cargo van. We are from Vancouver Canada and sharing out travels and journey with you here on youtube. All we want is to inspire someone everyday to wake up and be true to who they are, to live the life they want and not to live a single day hiding the true person they are inside. Wear your weirdness on the outside...its way more fun. WEIRDOS UNITE
2) Snow & Curt-
We joined along in their journey a few months ago when they were in South America, now they are in Europe and travel is a whole lot different in all these places. We like to watch them to see all the places they go. It's a type of travel and places we don't plan to do/go. They're originally from the U.S. and plan to travel for at least a decade, then retire.
Turn our life upside down at 50 to join the Full Time Van Life? Sure! We sold everything we owned... including our home in Florida. Why? To move into a 94sf Self Converted Van to travel the world! Yes, we became Full Time Van Life Travelers! To do this, we retired from our careers before turning 50, said good bye to family and friends, left our old life behind and hit the road with our 2 cats... Vanna & G. The plan? Travel the world in our tiny house on wheels! We are 5 years into our journey and we have toured the USA, Mexico, Central America, and South America. We are headed to Europe next where we plan to spend several years getting to know all of the hidden gems that the continent has to offer. We expect this journey to take us a total of about 15 years... we travel slow so that we can dive into the local cultures. It will be full of surprises, ups, and downs... but we hope you will come along for the ride!
This is another channel/couple we started following a few months ago, when they were in the middle of their Alaskan summer travels. Now they're in Nevada, and we're enjoying seeing the western U.S. through their travels.
We're David & Sondra Kahanamoku. Experiencing North America as Full-time RV Travelers in a custom trailer called Orion, a Smart car named Pathfinder and a Volvo semi-truck we refer to as Voyager. As RV Fulltime living since January 2016, we have experience that has been gained along the way that we want to share with the RV community and give back to those curious about this type of lifestyle. We'll share tips and information about traveling in general and in particular with a very large rig. We also want to demonstrate to everyone that it's possible to explore this great country of ours in a custom 47' fifth wheel and not compromise on the path you choose. We believe the Journey is the Destination, so come along with us to discover What's Next.
4) Honey I Roam-
This Florida based couple are fun to watch, we just found them last month. We especially like their fun personalities, and exploring various parts of FL "with" them, and can't wait to watch them travel along to Colorado soon. We like that they're showcasing doing this on a budget too.
Hey Honeys! We live full time in a ‘99 Lance Truck Camper that we bought for less than $4000. We made it our own by doing a full DIY renovation on the truck camper. We camp in incredible places, cook & eat delicious food, work hard, drink beer & coffee & have a blast! We’ve been living on the road for 3 years & do work camping jobs along the way! We quit our corporate jobs in San Francisco to camp & travel to beautiful places! We’re a happy couple of 15 years & counting 💜 We’re always finding new adventures and places to explore! We laugh and have fun every step of the way.
5) Cody & Kellie (Formerly Dome Life)-
We've been watching this couple since they were FT camping in a tent! They travel the U.S. all year round, but home base for them is Arkansas. Currently they're in FL soaking up the sun! We like their travel style, and that they're similar in age to us.
We’re Cody and Kellie. We live in a truck camper traveling the country. We enjoy outdoor activities, travel, and delicious cuisine.
These are really not in any order, but we do tend to prefer 15-45min videos. There are more we like to watch, so I'm sure we'll do a part 2 to this soon!
Thanks,
The Outlands
