 Hey Y'all! Previous Goal Update: https://outlandadventures.blogspot.com/2025/02/goal-progress-report.html This year we'd like to grow each and every one of our social media platforms, do more, and see more of this vast country! 2025: 1) Post daily on at least one of our social media platforms.  Tuesday's and Thursday's will remain blogs and videos.  Saturday's will be something quick and fun, like a picture of what we're doing. Monday is fan engagement posts, and Wednesday are currently anything goes. Sunday's are a question to our followers. These posts can be on any, or all of our social media so be sure to check us out everywhere. This is going really well, 100%! 2) Get more active on Instagram, add Amanda as a user to that account as well. -DONE! After 3 month of posting semi regularly and seeing no growth we've dropped Instagram from our focus. 3) Work on Work Camp Resume, finish by mid- February. Apply for jobs ASAP.  Hey Y'all! I posted about our ask us anything this past week on our Facebook and YouTube channel, we did get a few questions, so we'll answer them now. 1)  We really loved the small town of Athens, Alabama. We found this fantastic little county campground right on Latke Wheeler/ Tennessee River, the views and nature watching were excellent, the town had a lot to offer by way of parks, food, and museums. Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge was a short scenic drive, and made for a nice day trip. We really enjoyed northern AL! 2)  We'd have built out the van a bit better from the beginning, however doing it the way we did really let us explore what was best for us as we went. A built bed, rather than utilizing what was there, from the beginning would have been nice. Now, if money were no object we'd go taller, and a bit longer- just to have more room. Travel wise we're doing things in 3mo increments because I have scans and check ups often for recurrence of Endometrial ...

 Hey Y'all! We've been having pretty good weather, and it's feeling like Spring! (No more snow, yay!) So what are our plans? Starting some time this week or next we'll leave NE OH and work our way toward western Indiana, and our seasonal position, which we start mid April. We'll be there, with a few returns to TN for doctors appointments in May, and August, until October. Along the way we'll take the slow (and really best) route, mostly along HWY 30. If there's anything we want to stop and see we have plenty of time. Any suggestions? Let us know! While there, on our days off we plan to explore the area, adventure to Indiana Dunes National Park, and travel to IL, the state line is only about 30mi from the campground. So what/where is our positions? We are Work Kampers. My (Amanda) position is mostly office, check-ins, and running the store.  Hey Y'all, Hey Y'all! This one is gadget #vanlife specific, but the items from that  top 5 blog  are definitely some great products we love too! TOP 3! 1)  Collapsible Tub : We picked ours up at Aldi! Such a great find. At the time we purchased locally it was just under $10 USD. We use it for doing dishes, or washing fruits/veggies, or anything else you'd use a sink for. 2)  Folding Table/Tray : We found two of these, sitting in the floor of the furniture aisle of our local Walmart & knew we should grab them up for under $20 USD each. We have used them for working on the laptop, coloring/art, eating, outdoors to hold the radio or phones & drinks. Such a useful purchase! 3)  Lights! We upgraded our lights to these, and love them! We like the brightness adjuster and the color selector. Much better and brighter than what we were using previously. We don't ever use the music feature, or the app. The remote is more than sufficient for our needs. ...

 Hey Y'all! We've come to think of Warriors' as our home park- we've been staying pretty often, especially with the winter discount!  Hey Y'all! So what'd we do in February? Amanda had radiation, but this cycle wasn't nearly as bad as the previous times.  We spent a few weeks in Warriors' Path State Park . Then we moved on, (with a short stop at Cumberland Gap National Historical Park ) and spent a week and a half in London/Corbin KY at Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park . After than we took the scenic route, via 68/62 through KY and into OH. Stopping that evening and splurging on a hotel with an indoor pool & hot breakfast! The next morning we continued our adventure, and jumped on US 30, ending out February in NE Ohio. What'd we do in each of these places? At Warriors' we walked the campground a few times, talked with other travelers, explored more of the park, did a few hikes, endured another snow, and enjoyed nature watching. On this trip we saw a ton of birds, some turtles, and more deer. We went out to my (Amanda) sisters families and had dinner and visited one night, and spent some ...
