 Hey Y'all!

I posted about our ask us anything this past week on our Facebook and YouTube channel, we did get a few questions, so we'll answer them now.



1) 


We really loved the small town of Athens, Alabama. We found this fantastic little county campground right on Latke Wheeler/ Tennessee River, the views and nature watching were excellent, the town had a lot to offer by way of parks, food, and museums. Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge was a short scenic drive, and made for a nice day trip. We really enjoyed northern AL!

We'd have built out the van a bit better from the beginning, however doing it the way we did really let us explore what was best for us as we went. A built bed, rather than utilizing what was there, from the beginning would have been nice.

Now, if money were no object we'd go taller, and a bit longer- just to have more room.

Travel wise we're doing things in 3mo increments because I have scans and check ups often for recurrence of Endometrial Cancer. We plan as we go, and so far that works for us. We'd like to go further, but we also don't like long drive days and prefer to stay a few days minimum between drive days.


3)


We've been to Warriors' Path State Park (TN) several times, and always find something new to see/do. We consider it our home park, lol. We also make NE Ohio a stop at least once a year, to explore and visit friends. SO, I guess those would be our favorites since we return to them often.

Places We've Been/Things We've Done- March & April

 Hey Y'all, So, what have we been doing? Some of it we've shared here in the blog (Like our first Loves RV stay) some we've shared on our social media accounts: linktr.ee/outlandadventures We started out March in NE Ohio, Chris' best friend (more like family really, and that's how we generally refer to them) had just had surgery on his ankle. We visited with them, attended a basketball game, a dance competition, several parks, played bingo, went to Quality Inn with an entire indoor play area with pools, hot tub, mini golf, arcade, and various play areas. I'm sure there was more, but those were the highlights! After we left them we spent a few days in Findley State Park, before heading further west, we spent a night in Delphos, OH... Pretty area, but the weather didn't really cooperate enough to enjoy outdoor recreation. That brings us to April...
